Ethereum 1.x Ring This is a “Meta-Ring” intended to encompass the Ethereum 1.x initiative and related working groups (the participants in which may form Rings). Integrity Ring Current discussions relating to Integrity and the Code of Conduct are happening on the following Forum topic: Mobile Ring The Mobile Ring is to get native mobile dapps, mobile dapp browsers, and wallets working together well on mobile. Provider Ring This Ring is to coordinate between developers of providers, APIs which provide access to Ethereum nodes. Education Ring For discussions about the direction and process flow for knowledge management in the Ethereum ecosystem. Security Ring Initially proposed by @maurelian, the Security working group is planning a Gathering of the Security Community in early September, 2018. The Merge The 2021 initiative to merge the current PoW protocol with the PoS protocol, previously slated to be developed after Phase 1.
