The meeting focused on three main topics: Fossil’s CFI for HECA, development updates, and scheduling the next breakout call. Jihoon announced that the headliner process for HECA would begin on January 8th and last for a month. Development updates included Jihoon’s rebase of the execution spec from Osaka to Amsterdam, and Faheel reported on his testing of interrupt functionality between Red and Aragon using the Lodestar image. The team discussed potential data-availability issues and agreed that Faheel would share his Kurtosis config for further troubleshooting. FOCIL for Heka/Bogotá
- FOCIL has been CFI’d for Heka and the headliner process for Heka will begin on January 8th. It will last two months with the first half collecting headliner proposals and the second half deciding the headliners. Please see this post for more information.
Implementation Updates
- The FOCIL execution spec has rebased onto Amsterdam.
- Lodestar has rebased onto the latest commit of Fulu.
- Erigon has tried the interop with Reth using this Kurtosis config.
- Pelle is analyzing the public mempool to gain insight into transaction censorship.
Next FOCIL Breakout Schedule
- As many people would be on vacation and ACD calls are cancelled for the next few weeks, the next FOCIL breakout call is planned for four weeks from now, on the 13th January, 2026.
