ERC-8376’s abuse patterns refer to what was “disclosed at launch”, but nothing defines that disclosure. This draft is the typed facts a launchpad declares at launch, attached to ERC-8376’s launch ids: the creator and its ERC-8004 identity, the supply allocations and their vesting, the liquidity and its lock, any financing of that liquidity, and the fee recipient. Launches outside ERC-8376 use venue-scoped ids that only that venue can write under. The creator authorizes a declaration by calling, or by an EIP-712 or ERC-1271 signature; facts are append-only and never amended, so a detector can compare what was declared with what it infers, and a wallet can show “launched by agent #n” with that agent’s record.
Questions for the ERC-8376 authors and launchpads:
- Would you rather this be a section of ERC-8376 than a separate extension?
- Should a listed launch’s creator also have to sign for the bare name, not only for an attached identity?
- Are the declaration kinds (allocation, liquidity, fee recipient) the right first set?
