What stakeholder category do you represent?
e.g. wallet devs, DEXs, bridges
Solo staking (myself), Account Abstraction and EU-regulated Custody provider (Cometh)
What do you view as the top priority theme in this fork & why?
e.g. censorship resistance, scaling the L1, improving UX, etc.
UX, L1 and L2 scaling without compromise on decentralization, censorship resistance and neutrality
Which EIP(s) do you favor as a headliner for Glamsterdam?
note: the process is aiming for one EIP each for the consensus and execution layers
CL: EIP-7782 Reduce Block Lattency
EL: EIP-7692 EVM Object Format
re EIP-7782, it brings immediate UX improvements on DeFi, on block building market (more frequent and smaller auctions), faster L1 finality for bridges and L2 interop.
Solo stakers will have their reward volatility reduced. Bandwidth is often mentioned as a major issue for solo stakers, potentially having more frequent but less full blocks could be better. Being picked twice more often as a proposer is very appealing from a censorship resistance perspective.
One concern on EIP-7782, it has to come with emission adjustment so as to not end up with greater emission rate.
re EIP-7692, new execution formats like Risk-V is very attractive. New use cases and new account management method through smart account call for more flexibility at the execution level. Pre-compile additions on the L1 have proven to be a long process (for example, we’ve already been discussing EIP-7212 for 2 years now).
