Thanks for putting this together @Cybercentry. The verification types (ETV, SCV, WAV, WV) address real security concerns for agent interactions.
Question on positioning: ERC-8004(currently in Review) already provides a generic Validation Registry that accepts results from any validator type. Have you considered implementing these verification checks as a validation provider within that framework?
The relationship as I understand it:
- ERC-8004: Pluggable trust infrastructure (identity, reputation, validation hooks)
- ERC-8126: Prescriptive security service (specific verification types + risk scoring)
These could be complementary - ERC-8126’s security verifications posting to ERC-8004’s Validation Registry would give agents both security attestations AND interaction-based reputation from a single identity.
What advantages do you see in a standalone standard vs integration? Happy to discuss further - might be interesting to explore how these could work together.
