I agree with every single thing here about the inadvisability of any further growth in staking. In fact, I believe 15% of ETH staked is more than sufficient for all practical purposes.
My only problem with this proposal is I believe we need to set a hard limit to staking at the next hard fork, and get total ETH staked down to a safe level (let’s say 20%).
